Lick & Stick 13.01.21-2305 copy.jpg

How much is it and how many photographs do I get for that price ?

Day rate: £280 & ½ a day: £180. It is difficult to say exactly how many shots you will receive in the time booked, as this depends very much on the type of product, lighting and styling requirements. However, on average clients tend to receive approximately 60 shots on a full day rate and 30 on ½ day rate. All styling and editing is included in the rates. (postage of products not included)

How many different products can be shot in a day ?

I will try to shoot as many products as possible in the time given but this can depend on the type of products and the type of styling and lighting required. Please feel free to get in touch and I can give you a quote with no obligations.

When do I have to pay and do I have to pay a deposit ?

Once you have confirmed a date, you will be required to pay a small deposit to secure the booking in the diary.

The remaining amount must be paid within 30 days of receiving your final invoice. Your final invoice will be issued on the day the images are shot. Payments can be made via bank transfer and push payments, such as Visa Direct.

Do I pay for the postage of returning my products?

Yes, you are responsible for the postage of the products to and from myself. The return receipt will be added to your invoice. I will seek a courier of a similar cost to the one you used to send the products.

How do I book ?

Send me an email with as much info about your products as possible and your time frame. I will get back to you with available dates as soon as possible. .

Do you have a waiting list ?

Certain times of the year will be particularly busy - if you require your photographs quickly drop me a line as soon as possible and I will do my best to get you booked in.

How long will it take to get my photographs ?

You must ensure that your products arrive at the studio before the shoot date. This will enable me to be as productive as possible on the day of the shoot. After the photographs have been taken, you will receive the high resolution pictures by digital transfer within 10 days of the scheduled shoot. Quick & Easy will be with you in 3 days.

How will you tie my current branding into the photography ?

If you already have a strong brand identity, the photography that I take will complement this. During the consultation, we will discuss any ideas you have and I will give my professional opinion on how we can use formal elements such as colour, shape, texture, and most importantly, the lighting to get the styling of your photography on brand.

Can you travel to my place of work and shoot my products there?

Yes, there is a service called  ‘Bring the studio to me’. If you were to select this service, I would need a reasonable-sized room, in which to shoot your products. I would travel to you with my camera equipment and lighting gear. This can often be a more cost effective option, if your products are big, heavy or fragile to post.
This service is also perfect, if you are in need of images of yourself or your staff with your products or if you want to show the "behind the scenes" of your business.

Do you shoot seasonal looks ?

Yes, it is very important to keep your social media appearance up to date and genuine. Just remember: if you want photographs for Christmas, you will need a shoot in October or earlier, so you can use the images throughout the whole season.

If you would like several shots for a specific celebration - i.e Valentines day or Mothers Day, I  have a package called ‘Quick & Easy.

The package is £50 for 6 images, which place your product in that celebratory context. This package aims to relieve you of any marketing stress.

Do you provide props?

‘People buy from people’ - I believe this is especially true, when creating a independent business. I would encourage you to source some props of your own. Believe me, it’s not as difficult as you might think. Have a look around your home, studio or workshop for tools of the trade - sketches you made when developing your product and personal items that sum up your personality or your brand. This level of personalisation results in a much more genuine image. During the consultation, I will talk you through this concept and I will help you come up with ideas. However, I do have a range of props and backgrounds which can be used for the shoot.

Do I pay for the use of your props ?

No, you do not have to pay for the use of any of the props I currently hold in the studio. However, if there is something else you would like me to source for the shoot, such as fresh flowers, fruit, specific coloured backgrounds they will be added to your invoice. All of these will be discussed and agreed in writing, prior to the shoot.

Will my products be returned in the same condition they were sent ?

I will take great care of your products and do my best to keep them as I have received them. However, there may be some signs of wear and tear, depending on the type of product. To get the best out of your photoshoot, products will need to come out of its packaging and will be handled by myself throughout the shoot. Most products will be returned in a good condition. Yet, it may not be worth returning some perishable products such as edibles. Rest assured that, all of this will be discussed during the consultation.

How will I receive my photographs?

Your photographs will be edited and saved as high resolution files (jpeg). They will be sent to you by "wetransfer". From there, you will be able to download them to your device and you will be able to start using them straight away.

Will I receive all the images taken on the day?

No, I will go through the images and make a professional judgement on which images are the best. You will receive a selection of the best images taken on the day.

Will I receive the RAW files?

No, I do not supply RAW files. If you require higher resolution images or images for print, please let me know and I can prepare the images for you in a suitable format (.tiff).

Can I use the photographs freely on my website, Instagram/ Facebook and other social media platforms ?

The copyright and ownership of the images remains with me. However, you will have the right to use the images wherever you please (both online and in print). I completely understand that, it’s not always possible to provide a credit back to me, but where possible please use the following guide:
